22 days, 6,000-ish miles, and I’m home again.
Not too many photos today, as I was riding like a horse headed for the barn. ?
Temperatures were in the high 40s to low 50s. Strong winds out of the north through Wyoming, Nebraska, and into South Dakota, made for challenging cross- and headwinds.
I lost around ten pounds on this trip. Something to do with only eating 1,000 to 1,500 calories most days. Not eating and being hungry is actually a good strategy for staying awake and alert for 10 to 12 hours a day on a motorcycle.
I might do a recap post (or posts) in the coming days as I try to remember what I thought about for more than 100 hours of riding. No promises though.
