Fat Loss Challenge – Day 52

Feb 22, 2020 ·

Back surgery recovery mode – day 1. Sciatica pain is completely gone, but my lower back is understandably tender where they made the incision and did the needful. The physical therapist at the hospital has the nickname “The Bone Crusher.” She got me up and moving sooner than I thought I’d be, and doing some exercises, which while being a bit painful to get started, had to be done and I’m now glad she did that.

Sleep

5h 30m? The nurses woke me every couple hours for vitals and pain meds, which would have been synchronized better if I’d started taking pain meds before 11:17 PM. That was my bad. Took a four-hour nap when we got home this afternoon.
