Sciatica survival mode – day 19.
Sleep
7h 23m – after 18 days of very little sleep due to sciatica pain, I finally cracked the code and figured out how to sleep most of the night! Upper body leaning back on a wedge pillow (from Walmart) propped up on two more pillows so my upper body is at 27 degrees angle, small pillow under lumbar spine, and legs bent at almost 90 degrees with lower legs up on a “leg ramp” (also from Walmart).
